FAQs

What are Lash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic application used to enhance the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes. The extensions may be made from several materials including mink, silk, synthetic, human or horsehair.

How long do Eyelash Extensions last?

Application can be pricey (the most basic full set of glamorous lashes costs up to $200) and does take some time—anywhere from one to two hours depending on the desired volume—but, with proper care, lash extensions should last for up to six weeks.

What if you are allergic to Eyelash adhesive?

Yes, a good hypoallergenic sensitive glue can save the day when your client's eye area starts to feel uncomfortable, however, it comes with some noticeable drawbacks - possible longer drying time and shorter retention. I do carry on hand a quality sensitive adhesive for those with concerns. Just be sure to let you lash technician aware.

If both eyes start an allergic reaction to adhesive, it may be more severe in one eye than the other. Typical symptoms include redness, itchiness, and swelling that occurs on the eyelid or the eye itself. Cortisone Cream is a topical alleviant to allergic reactions and can assist in mild cases involving lash extensions and adhesive.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin.

Can you see results after 1 Chemical Peel?

You will notice a visible improvement in your skin after one peel, but best results are obtained with multiple treatments over time. Just as it takes time for skin damage to accumulate, it also takes time to reverse it. It's used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. You might have a light peel over the course of two to five weeks. It’s completely safe to receive peel every six to eight weeks.

What happens if you wear makeup after a Chemical Peel?

Most do wear makeup immediately after receiving chemical peel but there are several reasons why you should avoid applying makeup after a facial peel. First, makeup can irritate your fresh skin, even if it doesn't cause you any problems normally. Second, your makeup may not be sterile. Avoiding makeup mitigates your risk of infection.

What the difference between Microblading and Microshading?

The technician fills your brows by making hair-like strokes that look like natural eyebrow hair.
